North Rockland’s NJROTC STEM Team, commanded by Cadet Augustin Gomez-Garachana and assisted by Cadet Sam Granone, won a trophy today in the “Sea Perch” competition at Central Connecticut State University. 56 teams competed and North Rockland’s Open division team led by Cadet Andrew Tesik came in second in their division.

Sea Perch is a STEM program where the Cadets build a submarine or underwater robot and run it through various courses in a pool.

Congratulations Cadets!
